Overview
GatorLend is a platform for structuring ownership and transfer of real-world assets, starting with campus items such as textbooks, calculators, and lab equipment. The system represents those assets on XRPL and treats exchange as a transparent record-keeping and coordination problem.
The project is less about building a simple marketplace and more about defining how ownership, transfer, and verification should work when assets move across users and systems.

Current scope
- Built the core platform and product flow.
- Connected wallet-based authentication.
- Tested NFT minting on the XRPL testnet.
- Started validating real user behavior through early surveys.
Direction
GatorLend is an example of starting with a narrow use case while thinking toward larger financial infrastructure questions: transparent ownership systems, accountable records, and coordination mechanisms that can eventually map onto real institutional workflows.
